This site is really not a for profit site. I built this site for the people of Lawrence County and for the people who might be considering a move here. This is why, for now, you see hardly any advertisements. I think advertisements make a site look junky especially when there is more than 1 on the page. This also allows me to be really picky about who I place an ad for on this website.

The ads themselves are really affordable and can be reserved for months at a time. The ads also give you a different medium for advertising. Newspaper ads just don't have the reach a online ad does. Nor does a radio ad. When you want to get the word out to everyone, online advertising is the NEW way to go.
